12.2.2026 Koll has been selected for the Superfinns 2026 mentoring program. The program is aimed at scalable Finnish growth companies with the potential to break through in international markets.

4.2.2026 Koll completed an 8-month artificial intelligence development program - GSAI (Growth and Scaling through AI). The program implemented three AI processes for our company and launched our expansion into Germany.

19.1.2026 Koll was selected as one of the Top 100 startups at the Swedish Tech Arena 2026 event.

26.3.2025 Koll pitched the Lion's Den in Finland in episode 6. Although we didn't get an investment from the Lions, we got a lot of positive feedback and visibility!

17.3.2025 Our new calling feature opened today for piloting for business users. Now you can use the Koll app to call mobile phones that do not have the Koll app installed. In the first 48 hours, 150 businesses started the pilot.

11.3.2025 Koll Group Oy received another big funding pot today - the total pot has already reached 1 100 000 euros! Business Finland granted our company a R&D loan of EUR 500 000.

15.1.2025 Koll Group Oy's Seed2 funding round was successfully closed. Superhero Capital underwrote the entire round of EUR 400 000. Salon Seudun Sanomat and Turun Sanomat wrote great articles about us.

8.1.2025 Patrik Heinonen joined the Koll team as a fullstack software developer. Patrik has spent the last years developing communication software for the Saudi Arabian market.

19-21.11.2024 The Slush 2024 event was very successful for the Koll team. A huge number of interested people visited our booth and we met dozens of investors and potential customers. On the closing day of Slush, Engineer Magazine wrote an excellent article about us.

8.10.2024 Tuomas Kuha joined the Koll team as a fullstack software developer. Tuomas has worked in several startups in technology roles.

10.9.2024 Aino Hjerp joined the Koll team as a Marketing Specialist. Aino is also Koll's first employee.

6.9.2024 Koll Group Oy's Seed1 funding round was successfully closed. The company received five new private investors. The continuation of product development is now secured.

1.9.2024 Mikko Ahonen, our CTO, moved on to other duties and Lauri Kainulainen joined the Koll founding team as CTO. Lauri has been the technology behind several international software companies, such as Oura and Yeply.

1.7.2024 Panu Ravolainen joined the Koll foundation team as CPO. Panu has led demanding application development in several companies, including Nordea.

13.6.2024 Customer pilots of the Koll app will be postponed until after the summer. During the summer, improvements will be made to the product that will significantly enhance the user experience.

6.6.2024 Our founders met 20 potential investors at the Arctic15 event. The meetings were related to the preparation of the company's Seed funding round.

22.5.2024 Mikko Ahonen joined the founding team of Koll as CTO! Mikko is a highly experienced IT professional with a diverse background in roles such as developer and CTO.

2.4.2024 Customer pilots of the Koll calling app will be conducted in Norway, Finland and the UK in May, June and July 2024 to test the new calling method in areas such as human resources, early childhood education and banking.

1.4.2024 Koll Group Oy received a 60 000 euro Tempo grant from Business Finland. The grant project will start immediately and end on 30.9.2024.

13.3.2024 Koll Group Oy's Pre Seed funding round was successfully closed. The company received two new private investors. The actual seed financing round was launched at the same time.
