Branded Caller ID

Unknown numbers get ignored. Branded calls get answered.

Branded caller ID shows your verified company name, the individual caller and the reason for the call on the recipient's screen — before they decide to pick up. Koll delivers it on every mobile number, with no app required on the receiving end.

What branded caller ID actually means

Most business calls still arrive as a bare phone number. To the recipient, that number is indistinguishable from a robocall — so they let it ring. Branded caller ID replaces the anonymous number with context the recipient can trust.

Verified company identity

The company behind the call is verified once, up front. From then on, every outbound call carries the real company name — not a caller-entered string anyone could fake.

A named caller

Recipients see who is calling, not just which company. A call from 'Anne at Koll' feels like a person reaching out — because it is.

A clear reason for the call

The call reason is chosen from company-managed templates or written by the caller: a test drive, an offer, a delivery update. The recipient knows why it matters before answering.

Why branded calls raise answer rates

Answering a call is a trust decision made in about two seconds. An unknown number offers no reason to trust. A branded call offers three: who is calling, that they are verified, and why they are calling now.

  • Recipients answer calls they can identify — and call back the ones they miss
  • Your team spends time in conversations, not on repeated dial attempts
  • A consistent, verified identity protects your brand from being mistaken for spam
  • Every call is based on the recipient's own request or consent — the reason is shown before they answer

How Koll delivers branded caller ID

01

Verify once

Your company is verified during onboarding. This is what makes Koll calls trustworthy — no one can brand a call with a company they do not represent.

02

Call from your existing tools

Your team calls as usual. Before each call, they pick a managed call-reason template or write their own. The company name, caller name and reason travel with the call.

03

Recipient sees the context

On the recipient's phone the call shows who is calling and why — via the Koll app or, without any app, as a message delivered alongside the call.

Frequently asked questions

Does the recipient need to install an app?
No. If the recipient does not have the Koll app, the caller's identity and the reason for the call are delivered as a message alongside the call. Branded caller ID works on any mobile number.
Is branded caller ID the same as CNAM or spam-label services?
No. CNAM only shows a name string on some networks, and spam-remediation services only remove negative labels. Koll shows the verified company, the individual caller, and a clear reason for the call — before the recipient decides to answer.
Can anyone brand their calls with any company name?
No. Every company is verified once before any call is branded. Recipients can trust that a branded call genuinely comes from the company shown — which is exactly why it builds answer rates instead of eroding them.
Are calls recorded or analyzed?
No. The content of the call is never recorded or analyzed. Koll only delivers the caller identity and the call reason.
